6. The Shins - Wincing The Night Away Everybody loves a catchy indie band. And the Shins are no exception. This album is really easy to access and has everything you would ever want on an indie album. After listening to this album for a complete year my love for it has not faltered. Australia is one of the best songs of the year hands down.
