Playoff Journal Part IV

The dream match up for the NHL. From the East you have a young and exciting team lead by Crosby and Malkin up front and Fleury in nets. Then from the West you have arguably the league's best and most stable franchise of the past decade (and more) in the Detroit Red Wings anchored by Lidstrom and Rafalski on defense and Zetterberg and Datsyuk scoring up front.
What more could the NHL ask for. It should be an entertaining series, there are so many good story lines from both teams.
Both teams have completely dominated their opponents well so it is hard to accurately predict who will win. Can the youngsters handle the more experienced pros? Can Detroit contain Crosby, Malkin, Sykora, and Hossa? I think the experience of Detroit and their great defense will be the big story of the playoffs, and Osgood will be good enough to help the team win their games. It will be a close series, but my prediction is age over beauty:
Prediction:Detroit in seven
