My environment proff showed the class this website yesterday which some of you may find helpful if you're trying to decide who to vote. Stephen Harper doesn't seem to care about the environment (read more here).
So the way this website http://www.voteforenvironment.ca/ works is it basically shows who is expected to win each riding, and vote strategically so that the Conservatives don't retain power. You can put in your postal code to look at your riding.
So for example if you don't want the Conservatives to win your riding, and you're an NDP supporter...but the Liberals are the best choice to beat the Conservatives, then you would want to consider voting Liberal.
Some ridings however the Conservatives don't seem to have much a chance of winning (such as the Halifax West riding) so you can vote for whoever you want.
