7. MGMT - Oracular SpectacularI had never heard of MGMT (formerly known as The Management) until a friend on Coldplaying told me to check them out. And I did. In fact I went out and bought the cd without having heard a single song by them. Lets just say I was happy with the purchase. First few listens I thought it was all very strange. A few listens later I was hooked by their fusion of electronic style sounds and pop rock. The songs take you to a different place. Is it in the past or the future? Are you happy or sad? Wherever it takes you, its a fun place that only music can take you.
