He is in Broken Social Scene, so I had to check him out. And I must have liked what I heard since I ended up going to one of his shows in September at the Seahorse Tavern. He sings with a Bob Dylan like voice, that may not be the best, but it suits his songwriting style. This album is a break from his one before this which featured a plethora of his BSS friends. Instead he makes a more independent album that comes off great. I listened to this album many a night as I fell asleep. A great album to just calm you down and relax.
