There are some commercials that make us laugh, others we think are smart, others that are boring, and some that are just plain old annoying. But the one type of commercials that perplexes me the most is commercials for Pet Food. Its amazing that the same strategies used to sell products used by humans are the same as those for the food of our pets. Do you think pets actually care about flavours? Or care what type of treat you are giving them, the shape, etc? I mean I looked at my cats treats and it says crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Are we supposed to think....mmmmm jelly roll, I'll have to buy these for sure now!
I just don't get it.
